The 3 Keys to Safe Social Media - Including: Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and all the rest. :)

CDudes_JPG_Logo_for_Art_2020.jpg

The problem with Facebook and other Social Media is not the Algorithm, the extremists, or the hackers - it is the Lack of a "KEYs. "

Three KEYs are needed: better Architecture, better Filters, and a new type of KEY, we will call a "Facts Table." (more on that below)

First Key is better Architecture.

Second Key is better Filters

Third Key is to create a "Facts Table"

A facts table, to let those undecided see both sides; minus the falsehoods or political spin. To appeal to both sides and let everyone cool off with a little reality.  This "Third Key," a "Facts Table," briefly expresses both sides of an argument, or topic, or keyword: but is filtered for spin and misrepresentations.

The 3 Keys to safe, secure, social media in 2021.

Gordo-8: A Systems and Pricing Review

on 19 Aug 2021  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 2
20210813_181855.jpg

The Computer Dudes, Inc's research on Single Board Computers, SBC's, began in the 1990s.   SBC's use very little electricity.  In the 1990s SBC's were only used for traffic signs and such.  The first SBC Computer Dudes used was a 80846.

For the last 3 years we have developed and are in production with the Gordo-8 and Gordo-12 Series.   The number beside the name indicates how many computers are in the cluster.
The Gordo Series uses a round core which allows for many motherboards to be run in a cluster or as separate servers.

Gordo-8 Base Configuration

Node Zero: Control Node
Node One: Apache Server
Node Two:  Samba 4 Server with 1 Tb SSD, USB 3.1
Node Three:  Samba Node (controlled by Samba4 Server)
Node Four: Raspberrian Server or Workstation
Node Five: Backup Server for Files, Data and Video
Node Six:  CUPS / Print Server
Node Seven:  Routing and Security Server

Base Pricing

Gordo-8 Monolithic Solar:  $9,750

Gordo-8 Standard plug in / indoor version:  $5,750

Computer Dudes announces - LIDAR for Raspberry Pi 4b or other single board computers.

Some other systems can be found on GetHub.

Here is our first prototype LIDAR using a Raspberry Pi 4b Hat.

Computer Dudes has just completed the worlds first automated surveillance, reporting, facial recognition system - that includes active and passive defenses for jobsites, industry, malls or any location.

This product line is for individuals, corporations, utilities, industry and government.

All components are human friendly and safe for workers and visitors - but can notify and defend against thieves, robbers, vandals or any other threat.

Go, Computer Dudes, Go!!

Computer Dudes is NOT HIRING at this time but we will in a month or so.

Practice your skills - we will need more techs and engineers in a month or so and again in the Fall of 2023.

It is sad to report but Neither Computer Dudes nor any of our Banks are going under.

In fact, we have no debt. Something we would recommend to any corporation or human.

Sure, we had to work for it and still work for it but that is OK, because that is what we do. ;)T

"Maverick" is a word much older than Top Gun, Tom Cruise, and even the first Airplane.

A Maverick is a motherless calf, unbranded, on the open range.

Using Maverick as a human name or as an adjective describing a human personality type came much later.

Check it out! :)T

Some of us came up with a giant "wiener" shaped Weather Balloon and a sensor pack for it to carry to launch from the West Coast or Alaska and let it fly over China.
Not kidding - I have worked on weather balloon and microsat / sensors for decades. The National Weather Service has a weather balloon launch site here in Tallahassee, Florida so we see them go up all the time.
Nothing to be afraid of.
People and Governments have been using weather and other balloons for much longer than computers have even been in existance. :)T

Rockin IT in the Free World!
Field Engineer,
On the Road repairing a Point of Sale system today.
Texas is a BIG State, but not as big as California. Driving, Flying, Climbing, Tunneling or Jumping we will get there!!
Then we disappear to no-where for the next job. - A field engineers song.

Some of you were looking for Raspberry Pi's and others were working on Robots

Check this source out. Parallax also makes a complete line of small robots, sensors, cameras and all sorts of education projects too.

They are very cooperative with Teachers and Classrooms at all levels and have lessons along with source material and projects online and in live scheduled events.

I have used Parallax for decades. Bookmark it for sensors and lessons. :)

Your pal,
Todd
